MADVAC LX300

The Madvac LX300 is an extra large litter collection skid that features a diesel driven vacuum impeller mounted on a big stainless steel hopper. There are various vacuum attachments available. When the hopper is full, it can tilt over and empty itself into an industrial sized dumpster. This collection unit is an independent system from the truck shown in the photos, but this size truck makes an ideal platform. This 3100 pound skid may also be mounted onto your dual wheel heavy duty pickup truck, or purchased installed on a Madvac supplied utility trailer.

The stainless steel debris hopper is 5 cubic yards, and has a 1200 pound payload capacity. No debris passes through the impeller fan, so dust is not generated by shredding. If dust is picked up, it is controlled by either the Kevlar liner in the hopper or by an optional water spray system which suspends the dust particles in small water droplets. Attachments include the standard 8 inch hose that wraps itself for storage on the frame of the unit. But the typical user will probably want to add either the hydraulically lifted 12 inch diameter boom for close applications, or a second remote controlled 8 inch hose mounted on a hydraulically lifted boom. This feature lets the operator wander far from the unit without dealing with the weight of the hose.

Applications that we have personally demonstrated:

	Empty 55 gallon drum trash cans without lifting the can or the bag.
	Dumpster pad cleanup.
	Swing the boom over fences or road barricades to reach piles of debris.
	Pick up glass bottles, trash, plastic bags, leaves, sand, and gravel from along the edge of a road.
	Clean railroad tracks by picking up the wind blown debris that lands between the rails.
	Removed 55 gallon wet plastic trash bags, buried down in the mud of a ditch, right out of the muck and into the hopper.

	Pick up grain or corn dropped around the loading areas of silos.
	Clean out storm drains with manhole access.
	Clean under bleachers at racetracks or stadiums.
	Clean in historic areas with cobblestone streets.
	Clean industrial storage yards without organized aisles.
	Clean under and behind trailers in "over the road" trailer parking areas.
